Anne has been involved in many aspects of environmental philanthropy for over twenty years. For more that fifteen years she was a trustee of the John T Reid Charitable Trusts. Her keen interest in nature conservation, in particular habitat restoration, has inspired her involvement as a volunteer, donor, activist and board member for a range of organizations.

As a board member of the AEGN for six years Anne has been keen to advance the importance of the network to enable effective collaborative funding for the environment. She has been active in the not for profit sector thoughout her career with a strong interest in early intervention and early education. In 2015 Anne was appointed to the board of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. Through FRRR she continues her focus on the impacts of climate change, and the importance of building resilient communities in rural and remote Australia.

Anne is a life member of the Australian Conservation Foundation and the Advisory Council for Children with Impaired Hearing.
