Conference Venue

The Refectory Hall on Science Road at The University of Sydney in NSW

Venue Information

Accessibility:

There is wheelchair access to all spaces including a lift to the breakout room (Sutherland Room) and there are two accessibility toilets in close proximity of all spaces.

 Getting to the venue:

The walk or cycle to The Refractory Hall is a pleasant journey, with shared cycleways and pedestrian-friendly paths weaving through the University’s scenic grounds.

Catch a bus from Central Station, Railway Square Stand M (480, 412, 440, 483 – every 6 minutes) to University of Sydney Footbridge, Parramatta Rd or Bus 422 from Stand L (every 15 minutes).

The footbridge is 4 minute walk to The Refractory.

For cyclists, there are dedicated bike lanes along City Road and shared pathways entering from multiple directions around the University.

 Parking:

There is limited parking on the Camperdown Campus. The availability of parking at the University varies and in the interests of sustainability we encourage people to use public transport, walk or cycle in by using bicycle parking, safe pedestrian routes, and the campus bus.

Parking is available at the University’s Shepherd Street Carpark, located at the corner of Shepherd Street and Cleveland Street. This car park offers pay-and-display options and accepts card and contactless payments. Availability can vary, so arriving early is recommended. Additional paid parking is available at the Western Avenue Carpark within campus, and limited street parking can also be found in surrounding areas.

All talks will be held at the Granville headquarters at Madison 36th, New York City.
