Rex Patrick

Rex Patrick is a former submariner, project manager, business owner and independent senator from 2017 to 2022.

Utilising engineering and life skills developed over half a century, and his experience inside the heart of our political system, Rex has now taken up the role as a full time ‘transparency warrior’. He extracts information from government using Freedom of Information laws to enable him and others to stir the political pot to achieve better public policy outcomes. 

When asked if he’s a trouble maker, Rex responds, “Yes, I proudly cause trouble – public interest trouble”.
