Ann McGregor OAM

Ann McGregor OAM is an environmental planner who has worked in academia, the Victorian public service, as a consultant, and pro bono for community eNGOs. She has volunteered for decades with organisations protecting and restoring the Merri Creek and chairs the Merri Creek Management Committee.

She also chairs Nature Glenelg Trust, which focuses on on-ground ecological restoration, particularly wetlands. Ann co-founded the Nature Stewards program to improve ecological literacy and encourage environmental volunteering.

Ann and her husband Bruce are founding members of AEGN. Their philanthropy supports nature conservation, environmental advocacy and building movement capacity, as well as climate action and Indigenous caring for Country.
