Julie spent many years working in the ENGO sector but more recently she finds herself delighted to be able to assist as a donor and philanthropist and as an impact investor. She and her husband focus their advocacy and giving in the areas of nature and private land conservation, in climate related initiatives, and in support for better democratic processes.
Beyond Australian shores, Julie is very involved in environmental initiatives in the ecosystems around the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.
Hear from Julie on the afternoon of conference Day 1 for break-out session 2 'Better Off Standing - Forest Protection for Climate and Biodiversity' and on the afternoon of conference Day 2 for member-led break-out session 3 'The purpose and power of place-based campaigning'
