Denise is CANA's CEO. She is a strategist, advocate, activist and governance and management executive with a passion for climate action, human rights and multiculturalism.
Her previous roles include Climate Outreach Australia Lead and Executive Director of Doctors for the Environment Australia.
Denise came to climate after 20 years in the international human rights/development space, working in solidarity with conflict-affected communities at a grassroots level overseas and diasporas in Australia.
She has served on several boards and also been a consultant to the climate and international development sectors. She lives on Wurundjeri Country on the edges of Naarm.
