Julie Reilly is the CEO of Australians Investing in Women and is passionate about advancing investment in women and girls through philanthropy, social and capital investment. 

Prior to leading Australians Investing in Women, Julie worked across government, corporate, not-for-profit, university and media sectors. Her achievements include coordinating international OECD conferences, winning an Excellence Award at Swinburne University’s National Centre for Gender and Cultural Diversity, and being named in the Herald Sun’s 50 Women in Victoria You Should Know.

Julie has studied Philanthropy and Social Investment and has served on not-for-profit and philanthropic boards. She completed a Churchill Fellowship researching global strategies to increase giving to women and girls, travelling across the US, UK and Europe in 2018. She also serves in advisory roles with G(irls)20 and MECCA’s M-Power Program.

With her husband, Lindsay Field, Julie co-produced Myer’s annual Spirit of Christmas CD, which raised more than $8.5 million for charity over 25 years. 

In 2021, she was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to the community through charitable organisations.
