Dr Celine Steinfeld
CEO at the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists

Dr Celine Steinfeld is CEO of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists, an independent group providing evidence-based advice on policy and management of Australia’s land, water and biodiversity.

She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales, with a PhD in geography focused on water management in the Murray-Darling Basin. She joined the Wentworth Group in 2015 after working at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority on policy, science and strategy.

She has received national and international recognition for her work in river and floodplain management, including the Peter Cullen Postgraduate Scholarship and the International Riversymposium Young Achievers Award.
