Leeroy Bilney
Regional Manager - Australia at International Funders for Indigenous Peoples

Leeroy Bilney is a proud Barngala, Kuprun, Wirangu, Kokatha, Mirning and Noongar man, born in Port Lincoln and raised in Ceduna, South Australia.

He has dedicated his career to advancing self-determination, community-led governance, and systems reform across government, philanthropy, health, and economic development. Leeroy is currently serving his second term as Co-Presiding Member of South Australia's First Nations Voice to Parliament, having been the inaugural Co-Presiding Member. He is also the Co-Creator and Director of the Spinifex Foundation South Australia, helping shape its vision and strategic growth, and serves as Regional Manager (Australia) for the International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP), strengthening Indigenous philanthropy and partnerships across Australia and internationally.

His leadership has included governance roles with NACCHO, Yadu Health Aboriginal Corporation, and the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (AHCSA). With a background in performing arts and storytelling, Leeroy continues to champion Indigenous leadership, intergenerational change, and the elevation of First Nations voices in Australia and globally.
