Ella Colley
CEO at Gum Tree Foundation

Ella is CEO of the Gum Tree Foundation, a charitable trust funding organisations that work toward a thriving, just future for nature and humanity. Ella is also a Director of the Nature Impact Collective, a collaboration of funders investing strategically to protect and restore Australian nature, and an Ambassador for Pay What It Takes (PWIT), a coalition advocating for investing in the true costs of achieving social impact.

Ella has over 15 years of experience in leadership, communications and campaigning roles across environmental and social change organisations. Prior to joining the Gum Tree Foundation, she was Head of Creative at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, where she led content and storytelling for campaigns and non-violent direct actions, producing award-winning films, podcasts and websites.

Ella holds an MA in International Affairs and Media from The New School in New York City, and a BA in International Studies from RMIT University in Melbourne.
