This resource has been compiled by the AEGN to support grantmakers who want to know about the organisations that work on environmental issues

The most comprehensive list of environmental organisations in Australia, including more than 600 organisations which have Deductible Gift Recipient Status (DGR). We have focused on organisations with potential to be of interest to environmental grantmakers and where the organisations have a website and are contactable.

Note that Landcare Australia also manage an online directory of Landcare and Coastcare groups.

The contents of this directory have been sourced from information available online and from the organisations themselves.

To update an existing organisation listing:

You need to be a registered user before updating a listing.

Previously registered?

1. Log in with your user name and password at the top right corner of this website.
2. Select Directory Enviro Orgs – Update Your Profile that will display in the left menu when logged in, and update the listing.

Not yet registered?

1. Head to our registration page, choose your organisation’s name from the dropdown menu and select ‘Request activation’.
2.  Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
3. Log in with your new username and password to access your organisation’s profile and make any updates.

1. Under each MAP FILTER, select the sub-categories that interest you. As you apply filters to your search, applicable organisations will appear on the map and the list below it
2. To remove filters, select the cross (x) next to them
3. To search for a specific organisation, select ‘KEYWORDS’ and type in its name

View descriptions of the filters.

Click on a filter, e.g. ‘Issues’, then select the categories in your interest area. The organisations within your search criteria will appear on the map and in a list below the map. To delete a category, just click on the cross (x) beside the search term you want to omit.

Search for a specific organisation

To search by an organisation name, click on Keywords, and type in the name (or part of the name) of the organisation you’re searching for, then click Go.
