SUMMARY:Australian Launch: World Benchmarking Alliance's SDG focus for nature\, food systems and agriculture
DESCRIPTION:Watch\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorld Benchmarking Alliance to be established in Australia  \n\n\n\nHave you wondered how Australian companies are performing against the SDG’s?  The World Benchmarking Alliance wants to find out.   \n\n\n\nJoin us for a conversation with Michelle Gortan\, CEO of Macdoch Foundation\, and Gerbrand Haverkamp and Pauliina Murphy from the World Benchmarking Alliance.  \n\n\n\nWBA are here to launch their Australian office\, which will focus on the progress of locally-based companies including Coles and Woolworths\, National Australia Bank\, AMPOL and Woodside. \n\n\n\nLearn more about WBA’s role in helping companies measure their performance against the SDGs\, and which companies they are targeting in Australia.  Hear about the Nature and Food and Agriculture benchmarking work. And about how governments and philanthropic foundations around the world are using WBA benchmarking data to guide their investment decisions.   \n\n\n\nABOUT THE WORLD BENCHMARKING ALLIANCE  \n\n\n\nThe World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) was launched in 2018 to drive change in the way that business impact. They look at the world’s largest listed companies including those which reside in Australia. \n\n\n\nWBA develops transformative benchmarks that compare more than 2\,000 influential companies’ performance on the SDGs. The benchmarks are backed by the best available science\, while leveraging existing international norms and standards.  \n\n\n\nIn 2025\, WBA is establishing an Australian office to deepen the level of engagement with local business\, with a special focus on food\, agriculture and nature.
