In the first part of this session we will hear an update on the latest climate science from Professor Lesley Hughes – one of Australia’s most authoritative voices on the impacts of climate change on nature. The second part of the session will be an interactive opportunity to learn from the Climate Council’s communications expert Dinah Arndt. Together with Dinah we will explore how to best communicate about climate science to move people to action – not despair!

We have extended the session time to 1.5 hours in response to member feedback.  Many suggested there was too little time for members to talk and connect with one another. We will continue to revise the format to best suit your needs.

The climate change funder group meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday of each month. Connect with funders across Australia who share your passion for action on climate change. Funder groups provide an opportunity to develop lasting relationships, share your success stories, grow the impact of your funding and find collaboration opportunities.
