Mark has worked in leadership positions for Australian environment NGOs over almost two decades, most recently as CEO of Environment Victoria. He has worked in the solar industry in remote communities and been working on renewable energy and climate policy since 2000

Warrick has a long history in the environment movement. He is a former national forest campaigner at the Wilderness Society, and has been involved at operational and board level with organisations such as Environment Tasmania, Lock the Gate, and a number of grassroots campaign organisations in NSW and Tasmania. Since 2018, Warrick has been working on local transition issues, including with the University of Newcastle and AGL Macquarie. From 2019-2021 he was employed by the Australian Government as the Hunter Region Employment Facilitator, providing direct assistance to retrenched workers in the resources sector and collaborating on policy initiatives such as the Hunter 2050 Foundation, the Singleton Worker Pathways Service, and the Upper Hunter Economic Development Corporation.
