An immersive 5-day experience thoughtfully curated for those interested in environmental philanthropy, in a region rich in culture, biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes.
Sun 27 July - Fri 1 August 2025
The NT’s natural places are a national treasure, from thriving tropical savannas, incredible arid zones and ancient springs to thousands of kilometres of mangroves and sparkling coastline.
These special places are under threat from extractive industries, agri-business and climate change. Solutions must be viewed through the lens of First Nations people and the social and economic factors at play in the Top End.
Join this AEGN field trip to meet and hear from leading campaigners, practitioners, scientists, Traditional Owners and community members.
Explore cross cutting solutions and consider the role for philanthropy in realising a regenerative/sustainable future for the NT that aligns with culture, Country and community.

The offices of the Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network are on the lands of the Kulin nation and Eora nation.
Acknowledging the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia, we recognise their continuing connection to the land, waters and community.
And we pay our respects to the Traditional Owners, Custodians and Elders both past and present.
Note: This trip includes guided walks through a range of landscapes, all of which are designed for people with an average level of fitness.
