Simon Holmes à Court

Simon began his career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley during the first dotcom wave and shortly after returning to Australia in 2001 built and sold Observant, a precision farm water management company.

He helped establish the Australian community energy movement, as founding chair of Hepburn Wind, the country’s first community owned wind farm. Simon is senior advisor to the Energy Transition Hub at Melbourne University and writes regularly about all aspects of Australia’s energy revolution.
