AEGN

MEGA PROJECT SHOWCASE

Four sessions over two days focusing on climate change, nature, Indigenous land and sea management and sustainable food systems.

Submission due date: Wednesday 24 February

This year’s MEGA PROJECT SHOWCASE will be bigger than ever, running across four themed online sessions on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 March.

The MEGA PROJECT SHOWCASE gives AEGN members the chance to promote your favourite funding opportunities to the rest of the membership. You and your nominated organisation deliver a lightning fast online presentation to drum up support and funding for your chosen project. Projects can be either an organisation or a specific initiative.

Project summaries and contact details will be circulated to session attendees and full proposals will be posted to the Project Clearinghouse.

In line with this year’s conference theme — RISE: OUR CRITICAL DECADE — we are looking for members to submit projects that will grow the impact of work to address critical environmental issues.

We will run four MEGA PROJECT SHOWCASE sessions across the issues of climate change, Indigenous land and sea management, agriculture and advocacy, followed by nature, and sustainable food systems.

Nominations for the MEGA PROJECT SHOWCASE have now closed.

We were extremely pleased with the overwhelming number and quality of submissions that we received this year. All submissions will now be reviewed by a Project Showcase Advisory Group made up of members, who will be especially looking for projects with considerable impact that focus on advocacy, collaboration, communications or diverse voices.

We will be in touch with all those who submitted projects by Friday 5 March to let you know the outcome of your submission and a full line up for each of the four sessions will be released shortly after that.
