Adrian Appo OAM

First Nations Lead, Private Philanthropic Trust

Adrian is a Gooreng Gooreng man from South East Queensland. He is the First Nations Lead with a large private philanthropic foundation and is an adviser and wise counsel to many in philanthropy. 

Adrian was founding Chief Executive Officer of Ganbina, an Indigenous school-to-work transition program; founding Co-Chair of First Australians Capital; founding Board member of Children’s Ground; and founding Board member of the Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship.   

Adrian was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to Indigenous youth through career planning, employment and training programs. He has also received a Centenary Medal and an Australian Defence Medal.
