Louise’s work currently focuses on how philanthropy can help to strengthen the environment sector, and support both applied environmental science research and on-ground conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems. She has over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, starting at Philanthropy Australia, and currently at The Ian Potter Foundation. Taking a year of study leave, she recently completed a Master of Philosophy in Conservation Leadership at the University of Cambridge, where she undertook a placement at a UK rewilding enterprise.
