Jess is an experienced environmental lawyer and policy advocate.

She worked at the Environmental Defenders Office in Tasmania for over a decade on everything from conservation to climate action to marine farming. More recently, Jess has worked as a policy advisor and acting chief of staff to Senator Larissa Waters, focused on gender equality, government transparency and strengthening democracy.

Jess is passionate about community capacity building and helping organisations to understand the laws that are standing in the way of environmental outcomes, and how to fix them.
