Catherine was CEO of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation (LMCF) for 12 years until January 2024.
Catherine is now an Enterprise Professor at the Melbourne Business School where she is working on blended finance for the climate transition. She is also an Enterprise Professor at the Melbourne Law School where she is working on growing MLS Impact.
Catherine is a Board member of Impact Investing Australia and Philanthropy Australia. She has previously been Chair of Queen Victoria Women’s’ Trust and The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, and Deputy Chair of the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. She was a member of the Social Impact Investing Taskforce advising the Federal Government. Catherine is a lawyer and a Fellow of AICD. She holds a PhD related to innovation and philanthropy and was awarded an OAM for services to charitable organisations. Catherine and Mark are donors individually and through the Brown Rochford Fund account with LMCF.
