Advocacy is a powerful tool for influencing decisions and securing lasting change. AEGN members can play an important part in facilitating and engaging in policy advocacy on environmental issues to help build a world where people and ecosystems live in harmony.
The AEGN helps members leverage their influence and maximise the impact of their giving, supporting effective advocacy for stronger, faster and more equitable environment outcomes. Our advocacy aims to:
- Make AEGN a respected and influential collective voice on environmental philanthropy, and other climate and nature issues;
- Help AEGN members to use their influence within their wider networks to protect nature and secure a safe climate; and
- Increase funding for advocacy works across the environment sector.
